Contact lenses

When advising you on the contact lenses best suited to you, we carefully analyse the type of visual defect you have, the shape and size of your cornea, as well as your daily routine.
At the Optician’s Bottega al mare in Jesolo you can count on an accurate and professional consultation: Our opticians, who are always updated on new products and technologies, have the most advanced tools at their disposal such as the slit limp, the ophthalmometer, the retinoscope, and digital video cameras.

What to do

To use contact lenses safely, you need to carefully follow the instructions of use for the correct application, removal, cleaning and maintenance.
Before applying them, make sure that your hands are very clean.
Always touch contact lenses with the pads of your fingers and never with your nails.
Never use saliva to dampen or clean contact lenses.
Before putting on soft contact lenses, check that they are the right way up.
Respect the expiry dates and the longevity of their effectiveness and replace them when they are damaged.
Avoid rubbing your eyes when wearing contact lenses. If possible, don’t use them in dusty or particularly dry environments, such as planes.
It is dangerous to use them in extreme environments, such as saunas and Turkish baths.
Pay attention to the maintenance of contact lenses: Only use specific products.
